This year, we've relied on being connected online more than ever. We've used broadband for our work, our businesses, our children's education, to shop, to pay bills, to talk to our doctors, and to keep in touch with friends, family and our community.

Our local Liberal Democrat members tell us broadband is one of the most important issues for them - ahead of crime and parking. Unequal access to broadband is unfair - and fairness is at the heart of liberal values.

There's been much critical comment from the telecoms industry and in the press recently, following the reduction in targets and funding for broadband announced in the Government's spending review. But we don't think this should be a party political matter: we all deserve reliable and affordable access to broadband.

We want to hear views from across the community to help all of us work together for better and fairer broadband. We want to know where broadband is best or worst and where help is most needed. And we'd like to help residents share information on the solutions they've found.
