In rural areas like ours, NHS Dentistry is often seen as more of a myth than a reality, with it being almost impossible to get an appointment locally when you need one.

There is not a single dental surgery in Devon taking new NHS patients and many are only offering private treatment.

It's unacceptable that we either have to travel for hours to find a dentist still offering NHS care or shell out hundreds of pounds to go private.

The Government cannnot keep ignoring this crisis. We need urgent action to fix the NHS dental contract and boost the number of appointments.
